Genuine navy blue wool jersey swimsuit, "Sun Back" by the Sanders de Bièvres company, an iconic model from the transition to modern beachwear in the early 1930s. Structured, shape-retaining knit, emblematic of French textile high technology between the two world wars. This deep blue swimsuit, with its very thin criss-cross straps at the back and plunging neckline, promotes a "holiday tan." The logo depicting a freestyle swimmer in a diamond is the brand's signature for its 1930s designs. Sanders de Bièvres were the Pioneers of shape-retaining knit with a patented, very tight weave. On this structured knit swimsuit with raised details, the structured chest forms the cups, with reinforced side seams. A rare piece, unaltered and unrepaired, the knit is not stretched, the color is very well preserved with a vibrant blue, two tiny moth holes that are difficult to see , total clean .
