Small Ceramic Chest Of Drawers With Swiveling Mirror - Decorated In Shades Of Pink - Late 19th Century

Description: A charming little ceramic dressing table in the shape of a tomb, decorated with numerous landscapes in shades of pink, dating from the very end of the 19th century, manufactured by the Saint Clément factory.
This miniature tomb-shaped commode features a front with three drawers and a swiveling oval mirror mounted on small columns, all resting on a heavily molded tomb-shaped base with handles on the sides.
The delicate decoration in shades of pink on a light background evokes the toiletry and novelty objects of the Belle Époque period, but is entirely in the Louis XV style and more specifically the Baroque style of the 18th century.
This type of object could have been used as a lady's dressing table, in a child's bedroom, or even as a decorative display piece.
Today, it is a refined and decorative collector's item.

Good overall condition, with no significant restoration.
