Bacchus As A Child On A Barrel, 19th Century, Marble Table Fountain

Tabletop fountain, for wine or other beverages in marble: Bacchus as a child on a barrel, 19th century.
A rare and ingenious indoor fountain, probably intended for offering wine, depicting the child god Bacchus, crowned and adorned with vine leaves and bunches of grapes, his arm raised, holding a cup with a smile.
He sits on a barrel, itself resting on a rock.
The god of wine is represented as a chubby and happy child.
In very good overall condition, one toe is slightly worn, a finger is missing from the left hand, and the cup has a few chips.
The head appears to have been reattached or reinforced long ago.
The barrel has a bronze or brass tap in the shape of a dolphin.
A metal pipe system emerges from the back to allow the fountain to function, concealed behind the marble rock with a cement mixture. I believe it is possible to make this system work again.

A very beautiful and original period indoor fountain, from the Napoleon III era.
