A large, treated seashell, revealing only its pearly core, set in a gilt bronze mount decorated with a bird and foliage, resting on a circular white onyx base. Late 19th/early 20th century.
In good condition, with some signs of age (rubbing on the shell, slight oxidation of the bronze in a few places, a tiny chip under the circular base).
