An interesting small Renaissance-style tondo frame in finely carved wood, presented in its beautiful antique waxed patina. A very high-quality piece, with a vibrant, deep, and highly detailed carving, all in excellent original condition. The use of linden wood and the decorative motifs suggest Italian manufacture dating from the 19th century.
