Napoleon III Box With Bresse Enamels
Napoleon III style casket with a gilt bronze mount, oval in shape with a rounded shape. The body is made of cobalt blue porcelain enhanced with gold leaf and enamels. The work is intricate on all sides, a 19th-century style characteristic of Bresse enamels. The interior is lined with silk. Rich gilding and fine chasing are evident. In very good condition, with no missing pieces!
