A beautiful Aubusson-style knotted rug with a refined floral design and classic French-inspired composition.
The ivory field features a large central medallion in the shape of a floral wreath, composed of roses, peonies, and wildflowers in delicate shades of powder pink, dusty rose, cream, almond green, and touches of burgundy.
This central bouquet is surrounded by an oval floral garland, creating a harmonious sense of depth and movement.
The whole is framed by a richly ornamented decorative border of scrolls, foliage, and volutes, typical of the Aubusson style, in shades of beige, pistachio, sage green, and golden brown. The wide outer border, in a soft pistachio tone, is enhanced by a continuous floral motif that brings elegance and balance to the composition.
The design is delicate, symmetrical, and highly decorative, with a classic and romantic feel, ideal for a chic or classically styled interior.

Condition : Good overall condition. There are a few very slight stains visible in the ivory background and on the pistachio border, but these are discreet and do not detract from the overall appearance of the rug.The fringes have been carefully folded back for a more aesthetically pleasing finish (see the last photo showing the reverse side and the fold along the entire length of the rug).
