Set of eight artichoke or crudité plates, perfect for an appetizer buffet, from the Gien factory, stamped on the back. Vintage circa 1950–1970, made of molded earthenware. Compartmented design, consisting of a large compartment, a smaller side compartment, and a central circular compartment. Relief decoration of leaves and plant motifs, highlighted by a beautiful dark mustard yellow glaze. 23 cm in diameter and 2 cm high. Very good overall condition. There are some natural crazing marks in the glaze, a few very minor original manufacturing flaws, and a small, discreet chip in the center of one of the plates, barely noticeable. Approximately 450g each.
