Wedding Mirror, Louis XVI Period
An elegant "wedding" mirror, in an openwork pedimented frame, made of gilt, molded and carved wood, decorated with a pair of doves in a fluted cartouche, underlined by two arrows beneath a laurel wreath, scrolls, foliage cascades ending in tassels, friezes of pearls and ribbons, pine cones, etc. (antique mercury mirror, small chips and gilding repairs).
