Important and elegant French commode from the Louis XV-Louis XVI Transition period, late 18th century. It features three drawers in the front, arranged in three rows. The front has slight projecting edges. Beautiful rosewood veneer arranged in a herringbone and butterfly wing pattern, with borders highlighted by stringing. The piece is meticulously crafted with harmonious proportions. It has its original gray Sainte-Anne marble top. The legs are curved and tapered, ending in bronze sabots.
