There is also a handwritten label (N 131), suggesting that this piece has previously been in a gallery or collection inventory. Central Africa (probably Cameroon/Congo/Gabon?). Large piece: 70 cm high x 12 cm wide, in ebony. Good overall condition, with an old patina and wear consistent with age.
