Richly ornamented with foliate scrolls, etc. The clock is surmounted by a rooster, various friezes, and a base with heart-shaped friezes and a figure's head. It rests on small round feet. The clock has a wire-driven movement. The circular white enamel dial, signed "Fossard L'Aîné à Paris," indicates the hours in Arabic numerals.
