JAPAN - Showa Period (1926-1989). Musha Ningyō doll depicting a squire. He is dressed in fully articulated armor, with a finely lacquered and painted head adorned with hair and a jingasa headdress. He is armed with a wakizashi with a shagreen handle and wears finely braided sandals. Very good condition. Dimensions: 36.5 x 20 x 13 cm. The doll is presented on a custom-made blackened wood base. Dimensions with base: 38.5 x 23 x 16.5 cm
