This very large Rouen faience dish was produced in the 18th century. The decoration, in a rich red and blue glaze, features a floral basket in the center. The rim is adorned with a wide blue band bordered on either side by a frieze of geometric motifs. Highly decorative, this large dish has a small crack and two or three chips along the edge. Rouen, 18th century. Length 49 cm, width 35.5 cm, height 6 cm.
