"19th Century Bronze Mantelpiece "
A complete Louis XVI style bronze and brass fireplace set, very understated, comprising a shovel and tongs on a triangular base. The pieces terminate at the top with a turned, top-shaped finial. (Slight dent on the top of the tongs.)
Very good condition, always well cared for (some traces of polish in the recesses).
Late 19th or early 20th century.
Height 64-68 cm, base 26 cm x 20 cm.
