English landscape painter, Newmarch exhibited from 1866 to circa 1874 in the prestigious British institutions such as the Royal Academy, the Society of British Artists and the British Institution. Then he travelled to Brooklyn, NY and exhibited works that were inspired by the New England landscape. In addition to landscapes, Newmarch painted seascapes and picturesque genre scenes. Ability to paint the human figure within comfortable views of rural life.
