Louis Philippe Period Secretary In Burr Walnut, 19th Century
A Louis Philippe period secretary desk in burr walnut, it opens with a molded drawer in the upper section and three drawers in the lower section. The drop-front reveals a maple and ebonized wood writing surface with six drawers and two secret compartments, bound in black leather, topped with a sea-green marble hue. Circa 1830, the piece is in very good condition.
