Painting depicting a landscape by Milo Chevalier, a 20th-century painter whose real name was Emile Louis Auguste Chevalier, born on May 26, 1892, in Briare, Loiret. He is considered a 20th-century Impressionist painter who began painting after the First World War. He painted landscapes of Paris, notably Montmartre and the banks of the Seine, and later focused his work on the beauty of nature and the seasons with rural landscapes and bouquets. Emile Chevalier died on December 2, 1976, in Joux-la-Ville, near Vézelay.
