A late 18th-century Louis XVI style trumeau, carved and gilded wood. The upper section features an oil painting depicting a lively harbor scene with figures in the Italian style. It retains its original two-part mercury mirror.
In good condition, with restorations consistent with age and use, particularly to the gilding. Oxidation stains on the mirror are visible in the photos.
