"Queen Anne Type Flintlock Pistol By Barber-london, Circa 1730"
Turn-off barrel with a profile reminiscent of an artillery piece. Beneath the chamber are two oval proof marks: a crown over "GP" and a crown over "V," corresponding to the London Proof House. The grip terminates in a silver cap decorated in high relief. Flintlock mechanism with internal boxlock action, signed "BABER," with "LONDON" inscribed on the opposite side. The mechanism is in good working order. In the safe position, the trigger guard can slide forward, locking the mechanism and preventing the hammer from being cocked. Double safety system. Upper jaw of the cock and jaw screw restored.
