Pair Of Charles X Gilt Bronze Five-light Candelabra With Emperor Medallions
A pair of five-armed candelabra in chiselled and gilded bronze, decorated with volutes adorned with chimera heads; the central section features candle holders chiselled with friezes depicting figures in the classical style. The vase-shaped shaft, with two handles, is centred with medallions bearing the profiles of emperors and accented by a Greek fret frieze. Circular base with feet in the form of acanthus scrolls.
