This fine white porcelain service is decorated with an elegant frieze pattern alternating between stylized gilt palmettes and small pink flowers, highlighted with gold trim. The decoration, very characteristic of the Empire style, is distinguished by its symmetry, radiating palmettes, and its understated yet refined composition. The service includes: a teapot, a teapot, a covered sugar bowl, a milk jug, a large bowl, and ten cups and saucers. A harmonious set with clean lines, typical of the early 19th century, Empire/Restoration period. Unmarked porcelain, French manufacture. Good overall condition, with some wear to the gilding.
