Biography:
Jean GARNIER 1853 / 1910.
Born in Mouzeuil (Vendée) on March 24, 1853, J. Garnier was a sculptor, enameller, and engraver. This artist regularly participated in the Salon des Artistes from 1883 to 1905 with statuettes in various materials: Singing Nymph, terracotta, 1892; Reverie, plaster, 1893; marble, the following year; Oh! The Frog, wax, 1894 - Victorious Amazon, bronze, 1896, The Coral, pewter, 1897, Gladiator, plaster, 1905. He received an honorable mention in 1892.
One of his works is held at the Bordeaux
