Bronze subject decorated with a putto holding a copper jar signed on the terrace Coudray Cachet Société des bronzes de Paris. Georges Charles Coudray is a French sculptor and medalist born in Paris on January 31, 1852 and died on December 6, 1944. He entered the School of Fine Arts in Paris in 1884. He exhibited regularly at the Salon of French Artists from 1883 to 1890 and then more sporadically until 1903. We owe Georges Coudrey a few medals published by the Paris Mint between 1926 and 1932
