Restoration Period Easel.
It features three adjustment systems: one allows the shelf supporting the paintings to be raised or lowered (this system uses a metal rack and pinion mechanism, disengaged with a pull tab); the second secures the paintings by sliding them along the dovetailed upright; and the third, located at the rear, adjusts the leg's orientation. This leg is centered on a turned wooden section, ensuring overall stability and locking in place with a threaded rod and wing nut.
