An Arabian jambiya dagger - Arabian Peninsula, Saudi Arabia or Yemen, 19th/early 20th century. A long jambiya with its original leather belt still attached to the scabbard. Flat, curved, double-edged blade. Handle made of two horn scales covered with low-grade silver and copper. Scabbard made of tinplate, low-grade silver, and brass. Minor damage to the leather belt, otherwise in good overall condition, no play in the mechanism.
