Wooden Fireplace
This lovely wooden fireplace (walnut and oak) is finely carved with fruit motifs (grapes, apples, pears, etc.). It has the added advantage of its matching overmantel, with the same decorations and the coat of arms in the center (likely belonging to the de Liniers family). It comes from the Château de Gautret (Vallans, 79), which belonged to the de Liniers family and was later bequeathed to the Picabia family (the painter stayed there). The piece is in good condition (a few small repairs need attention). It is possible to reduce the size of the hearth; a frame is available (see photo). Overmantel: Height: 148cm, Width: 107cm. Fireplace: Height: 104cm, Width: 144cm. The hearth measures 112cm wide (it can be reduced with the frame, which measures 18cm per side).
