"Set Of Seven 18th Century French Sevres Porcelain Plates Floral Circa 1751-175"
Set of seven 18th Century French Chantilly soft-paste porcelain plates. They feature a lobed, scalloped rim and a molded basket-weave border, known as the
ozier pattern. The center of each plate is hand-painted with polychrome floral sprays, and some may include small painted insects. The plates have a white ground with a thin gilt or blue enamel line applied to the rim edge. The undersides feature hand-painted blue decorator's marks, consistent with 18th-century factory practices. The material is soft-paste porcelain with a tin glaze. Dimensions are approximately 23.5 cm in diameter.
