"Noh Mask "magojiro" Signed Mitsughari Tajuna Japan"
Noh mask depicting Magojiro in its box with brocade bag. Magojiro is the main female character of the Kongo troupe. She is older than the naive Ko omote and more lively than the austere Zo onna. Her forehead is shorter, her eyes smaller, and her nose more prominent. She represents an adult woman, not yet married, but who has known men. On the back of the mask is the seal of the sculptor Mitsuharu Tajuna. The mask has a small orange stain on the left side of the nose and signs of wear on the chin.
