"Alain Richard Sideboard 1950's, Produced By Meuble Tv"
A sideboard by Alain Richard (1926-2017), produced by the company Meubles TV in the 1950s. Set on a black lacquered metal base, the elm veneer structure opens to reveal several shelves and drawers behind two sliding doors. Model 196 is a rare piece that embodies its creator's vision, where rigor is combined with a modern aesthetic, in keeping with French design of the 1950s. The manufacturer's mark is on one of the interior panels of the cabinet.
