Large Marble Basin, 173cm High, 17th Century
A substantial white marble basin or planter, centered with a marble marquetry motif on the three sides of the base and also beneath the basin.
This basin is composed of three elements: the basin itself, made of three joined shells, is mounted on a pilaster, which rests on the base, sculpted with large scrolls at each corner.
An Italian work from the 17th century, it shows normal signs of wear, as well as chips, losses, and some old restorations.
It disassembles into three parts.
