Vase signed at the bottom Barovier & Toso Murano Barovier is the oldest glassworks in Murano, created in 1295.
Over the centuries, the different members of the family have developed techniques that elevate glassworks to the level of art and luxury.
In 1936, the Barovier family joined forces with the Toso family, also Venetian glassmakers.
