A rare set of eight Qianlong period Chinese porcelain plates, early 18th century. These famille rose plates, made by the East India Company, are mostly in very good condition. There is only a discreet chip on two plates and a slight hairline crack on another. The seaside landscape decoration is a classic design, highlighted with gold.
