"19th Century Indian Terracotta Sculptures Folk Art "
Two terracotta sculptures, modeled in clay, are representative of Indian folk art from the colonial period. Created in the second half of the 19th century, they demonstrate vernacular craftsmanship rooted in rural traditions. Their precise regional origin remains difficult to determine, but their style and technique are fully consistent with late 19th-century Indian production.
