A set of 12 Paris porcelain dinner plates, Directoire-Empire style with gold trim. Late 18th or early 19th century: these plates are an early production, with a high foot. 10 plates plus 2 of a very similar design complete the set. A beautiful, understated service, perfect for everyday 18th-century enjoyment. Excellent condition, with little to no wear to the gilding, no damage except for a small chip on one rim, a star-shaped spot in the glaze on one plate, and small chips on the foot of one plate. Diameter: 22 cm
