Art Deco Ceylon sapphire bracelet in silver and 18 karat gold. This 1930s bracelet is composed of rectangular and domed links, entirely openwork, adorned with scrolls and fleur-de-lis motifs with chased detailing. The bracelet is also decorated with chased detailing on the edge and on all sides of the box-shaped clasp. It is set with seven unheated Ceylon sapphires and 14 rose-cut diamonds. The sapphires possess a beautiful pastel blue color, characteristic of Ceylon sapphires. This bracelet reflects the Italian goldsmithing of the early 20th century, reminiscent of Buccellati jewelry from that era. Antique bracelet, circa 1930, likely Italian.
