Antique French Georgian 18k Gold Enamel Drop Earrings, Louis Philippe
Georgian enamel long earrings in 18 karat. Rare antique drop earrings featuring a top element decorated with a bird of paradise perched on a branch, rendered in polychrome enamel against a turquoise background and framed by a black scrollwork border. The lower section consists of a substantial openwork pendant adorned with scrolls and acanthus leaves. At its center, a mobile dangle enameled in black and turquoise is decorated with a red and gold figure. The earrings are lightweight, crafted in hollow gold. Dating from the Louis-Philippe period, circa 1830-1840, they reflect the distinctive refinement of this era in France.
