"Delftware Lion Figurine, 20th Century "
A glazed earthenware figurine with blue decoration on a white ground, depicting a seated lion, its head turned to the left, its mouth slightly open, and its mane finely stylized. The expressive modeling and hieratic posture evoke traditional heraldic emblems, while the stylized floral decoration on the flank and base recalls classic Delftware motifs. Dutch work, circa 1900-1920. Height 11.5 cm, Width 6 cm, Length 13 cm
