19th-century sculpture, circa 1875, depicting a young nude man in a hat, entitled "The Reverie of the Young Fisherman," in terracotta by Louis Edouard Laforesterie (member of the Société des Artistes Français). Born in Haiti in 1837 and deceased in 1894, the sculptor exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1867 to 1883. Signed on the base.
