Exceptional 19th-century silver reliquary, weighing 163 grams of solid silver, containing an extraordinary assemblage of sixteen First-Class relics of the principal figures of apostolic Christianity:

  • Saint Peter, Saint Paul,

  • Saint Andrew the Apostle,

  • Saint James the Greater,

  • Saint James the Less,

  • Saint Thomas the Apostle,

  • Saint Philip the Apostle,

  • Saint Bartholomew the Apostle,

  • Saint Matthew the Apostle,

  • Saint Simon the Apostle,

  • Saint Jude Thaddeus,

  • Saint John the Apostle,

  • Saint Mark,

  • Saint John the Evangelist,

  • Saint Barnabas,

  • Saint Matthias the Apostle.

The sacred relics are carefully arranged beneath glass and traditionally identified, reflecting exceptional devotional and ecclesiastical craftsmanship.

At the back of the reliquary, we find an episcopalian wax seal holding the threads together and guaranteeing the authenticity of the holy relic. These elements remain intact, attesting to the reliquary’s ecclesiastical provenance and preserved condition.

Reliquaries of this magnitude, uniting the core apostolic circle in a single sacred object, were exceedingly rare and deeply revered. This piece stands as a remarkable testament to 19th-century Catholic devotion, embodying the spiritual authority of the Apostolic Church and the enduring tradition of relic veneration.
