Delftware wall plaque, decorated in blue monochrome with grotesques, flowering vases, crosshatching, scrolls, and a border.
Second quarter of the 18th century.
An identical polychrome plaque is reproduced in "La faïence de Delft" by Henry-Pierre Fourest, page 173.
The same plaque was sold at Christie's London, June 24, 2020, "The estate of Albert and Leonie Van Daalen," lot number 40.
Some minor wear to the glaze.
