Large and beautiful statue in softwood (larch?), depicting the Child, his head bowed towards the ground, with a very gentle expression and a slight smile. Elegant twist of the torso, left arm raised. Some minor losses to the fingers. No signs of woodworm damage. Small wooden base. Superb patina. 18th century. France.
