Provenance: Gift from the artist. A beautiful, high-contrast work by the French painter Victor Hasch depicting an orchestra playing a symphony. The artist uses a palette knife to create texture in his composition.
Victor Hasch was a French painter and lithographer known for his brightly colored works. His work is in the tradition of the painters he admired, such as Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Robert Rauschenberg, and Nicolas de Staël.
In the 1980s, he produced a series of works, notably on the theme of music, in the style of Nicolas de Staël's compositions.
Victor Hasch's work is featured in major private and public collections.
Note: Presence in the sky Scattered cracks, not significantly affecting the artwork, are present due to the paint drying quickly.
