An imposing Louis XVI style centerpiece. The gilt bronze mount is richly decorated with motifs typical of the Louis XVI repertoire: garlands of flowers, tied ribbons, flaming urns, etc. Resting on four cabriole legs, the mount incorporates scroll handles. The oval cobalt blue crystal interior has a scalloped rim and is in perfect condition, without chips or cracks.
