This charming pair of Paris porcelain figures depicts an elegantly dressed couple in an 18th-century style. The male figure, accompanied by a small dog, wears a brown coat with gilt trim and blue and white striped trousers. The female figure holds a flower and wears a blue bodice and a skirt finely decorated with polychrome floral motifs. Each figure rests on a rocaille base with a scalloped edge, richly adorned with gilt scrolls, typical of Vieux Paris production in the 19th century. The polychromy is fresh and luminous, with the gilding still well-preserved, highlighting the decorative quality of the pieces.
