Eugène Henri Callot, La Rochelle 1875 - 1956. French painter, student of Jules Lefebvre and Robert-Fleury, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, of which he was a member from 1898, and won a gold medal there in 1920. His paintings mainly depict landscapes of Brittany, harbors, rivers, and fishing boats. Official Painter of the Navy.
