Irénée Felix René Rochard (1906–1984) was a French animal sculptor, famous for his bronze works representing animals with great realism and an Art Nouveau touch. Born in Villefranche-sur-Saône into a family of artists, he studied at the École des Beaux-Arts and the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and was a member of the Société des Artistes Français from 1938. His sculptures, often signed "I. Rochard" or "Rochard," are sought after for their finesse and expressiveness, particularly his depictions of horses, panthers, and birds.
