Cooler, Rouen Blue With Lambrequins, Early 18th Century, Perfect Condition.
A very fine piece of early 18th-century Rouen faience. This octagonal bottle cooler is beautifully decorated with blue lambrequins and delicate, small leaves of the same color.
The cooler has eight equal sides, each bordered by equal raised folds. On two opposite sides, a prominent mascaron allows it to be easily gripped and moved. An exceptional early 18th-century faience piece, in perfect condition, without any cracks.
Dimensions: Width including mascarons: 27 cm; Width excluding mascarons: 20 cm; Height: 17.7 cm.
