Superb still life by the Franche-Comté painter Pierre Jouffroy. Executed in a hyperrealistic style, entirely representative of his work. Original theme of a plate of cherries placed on a table with a pretty white tablecloth. Flutes in a basket and a pewter pitcher beside it. Oil on hardboard, very well framed. Very good condition. Signed and dated 72 lower right (1972). 20th century. Dimensions excluding frame: 33 x 40.5 cm
