Louis XV Period - 18th Century Commode In Violet Wood Veneer.
A very fine small bombé commode, veneered in kingwood, opening with four drawers in three rows. The dark rails are fluted with copper, and it features chased and gilt bronze mounts, topped with a red Flanders marble slab. In good condition, with minor old restorations.
